Nothing wrong with a balanced portfolio having silver and gold. Put money in many different potentials. The hard part is holding long enough to make it to its ATH.

Gold is up 307% from 1983-2022 giving you a rate of return of 0.84%
If you look at gold since 1980 you would have a negative rate of return.

In that same time period
Large US is up 7000%
Small US is up 5000%
Large Value is up 9000%
Small Value is up 17,000%

Gold and silver bugs are highly misinformed at best and at worst they are kikes peddling their shekels to stupid goyim.

Should have bought stonks kid. Maybe next time you can.

If buying silver has all this power, then why don't the ultra wealthy buy all the silver for themselves? Someone like soros could buy more silver than everyone on this board owns and he wouldn't lose a fraction of his wealth

Is this the precious metals equivalent of "2 more weeks"?

There was hype about silver a good while back which actually caused FOMO, so I bought a 500g Silver bar, my first piece of silver. It has been sitting on my computer desk, collecting dust, ever since.

At least I can say I've expanded my asset portfolio.

Makes sense. Elon' s cars don't even have keys and they may spontaneously combust even without being sabotaged.
J/k
Unironically, not to cause FOMO, but probably any number of manufacturers could at any moment legtimately and benignly make a big dent in the supply of available silver as a raw material for their manufacturing process due to concerns about its rising price or even availability in the future.

Precious metals are a hedge against inflation. In the late 1800s one once of gold bought 2 nice suits. Now it buys two nice suits. Hate PMs all you want, but the next inflation uptick will murder fiat

Looks like you didn't either. Never buy gold from anyone outside a reputable local dealer or Bullion Company. If you see what looks like a bargain, walk away. Only the greedy get swindled

>Precious metals are a hedge against inflation
They can't even do that. USD has been inflating for years, and silver is still down from when it was $27. Silver is inflating worse than fiat
