Can someone please explain why silver will be going up soon? I have been wanting to buy in for a little while now but it seems to be high and I would imagine that if the economy were in turmoil, the price would only go down. Besides, with banks holding so much precious metal, wouldn't they be selling off PM to stay afloat?

asside from the oilsands discharging treated water in the North Sask, that guy was probably thinking about all the run off from farms / ranching that ends up in that water way. It depends on the time of year too, I wouldnt ever eat a salmon out of the Fraser in the mid summer, so much sewage from farms ends up in the river, and mid summer means lower water, its horrible.

Watching Lodoss is so long ago I can't remember much other than the ending theme, (should maybe rematch it .. ) the large bulk of the genre was created relatively recently so you're likely familiar with it anyway ..

Well if you liked Konosuba, then you should watch Combatants Will Be Dispatched, same author for the source material. What are the "good anime" you say you've seen? I assuming the popular Isekai (since your picrel) like Re-Zero, Reincarnated as Slime, Jobless Reincarnation, Rising Shield Hero, Tanya the Evil, Is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon? A couple of good non-standard Isekai is So I'm a Spider, so What, and Arifureta (but people really didn't like the low budget, badly animated, and supposedly bad adaptation of the 1st season. 2nd season much improved). Dr Stone is a really good science anime. Ghost in the Shell SAC and 2nd Gig is probably the best cyberpunk anime. Steins;Gate is probably the best time travel anime. A couple of low budget animes I really liked which you probably haven't watched are I'm quiting heroing (it really isn't what you think it is, and only realize this when towards the end), Trapped in a Dating Sim (hilarious MC taking people down some pegs). A popular recent slice of life anime is Spy x Family. Gate is a pretty good Isekai of the Japanese Military decimating fantasy world armies with modern weapons.

And I've already mentioned Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement for it's pro-/pmg/ stance of stacking gold and arming oneself. The other /pmg/ approved anime is Spice and Wolf which deals with a lot of economics and "merchanting".

Junk silver is really only worth it if you are using small denominations and are looking for easily divisible fractional silver, $1.40 in junk is equal to one ounce of silver as an example, one dollar face of silver is .715 ozs, a silver dime is .0715 ozs of silver etc. I would say the monster box is good for investment and hodling, but when shtf and you buy stuff you’re gonna have to buy in bulk or hope that someone has fractional change and can do the math

I still buy physical but now it's more the occasional unique/meme piece/collectible and no more bullion. Once I've got that centurion stack I just feel like I get a lot more value from buying stocks, getting those dividends and appreciation, and always knowing if it all collapses I have a respectable stack. No, ponzi schemes are investments where ignorant new suckers pay for the gains of other ignorant suckers, possibly above them in the hierachy. The thing you're investing in can be anything, even gold. For example, you invest literal 1oz of gold and a week later you get 2oz back. The 2oz would then come from someone else who invested his gold, too. Usually people get greedy at this point and reinvest everything for even more gains without ever cashing out, which then gets shuffled around until new suckers stop joining in or old, hyped up suckers stop injecting money or whatever and the whole thing crashes.

>Serious question. Is there ever any reason to move past Centurion tier?
Looking at current prices and taking only the Au, since that's more stable, that's "only" $10k. And now it depends on how you look at it and what your outlook into the future is:
Having some "money" in your possession outside of the system that you can use whatever way you see fit (with more or less transfer losses along the way)? Not bad.
Some stuff to pass along to your heirs, secretly and tax free? Not bad either, but your kids probably won't be able to retire on it or buy a house.
Some emergency fund to enable you to weather a shitty year? Good enough, I guess.
Emergency fund to enable you to run away and start anew someplace else? Well, if you car's fucked and you need a new one, that might already be where your funds run out.
Living like a king with daily blowjobs in some Mad Max fantasyland? You're probably good! (As long as you don't forget your meds)
Personally, I aim for coinvivor, but
>Once I've got that centurion stack I just feel like I get a lot more value from buying stocks, getting those dividends and appreciation, and always knowing if it all collapses I have a respectable stack.
definitely is true! I could just buy myself into coinvivor tier right now, hell, probably even into Chad, but eventually, I want a house and I doubt that the shizos with their >Muh 1 Oz of silver will buy me a huge farm! are right, so I'm afraid I have to play within the boundaries of the system to get ahead within it, with some metals as a backup plan, should the can finally stop being kicked.

Well said, and yes I think coinvivor tier at least is the goal. Just after a certain point, once a reasonable stack is achieved the foot comes off the gas, and the money starts going into more traditional investment vehicles. I will never stop stacking, but now that I have a reasonable amount of value stored away outside the system it's no longer my main investment priority. I believe in PMs but I don't believe in YOLOs, and so long as the can keeps getting kicked it makes more sense to make as much money as possible in the markets while they are still around.

Unironically, the world we will be entering will be putting a massive premium on commodities/resources instead of dollars which were needed to buy oil. That will represent a massive loss of purchasing power for Americans as we are presently the beneficiaries of $700BN trade deficit.
Historically every nation wanted a trade balance of zero because if you were buying too much it meant gold was leaving your banking system and your economy would be contracting. We have the most to lose, unfortunately. People have no idea just how much stuff we really have that we haven't really paid for through our own production. Trillions of dollars that were sent overseas for the last several decades will likely be making their way home.

Foam gaskets are a personal choice. For me, I prefer capsule made to fit, but it's good to have a few outsized capsules with gaskets for those few weird rounds that are larger, like 2-ozt.
Most coins/rounds are 39mm, and 40.6mm is next most common.
Amazon sells a few versions of pic related. It's nice that they come with storage boxes to hold the capsules. Or you can bulk-purchase capsules in boxes of 50 or 250 from vendors on ebay, but then you've got a bunch of loose slippery capsules.
