Bitcoin? yes

Ponzi scams generally only get one chance to rip off retards, and we used that to its most egregious in 2021.

My favorite was watching poser celebrities like Eminem and the talkshow host buy monkey jpegs for a million bucks. Talk about a humiliation ritual.

Maybe we get another shot to fleece people in 30 years when they've forgotten about it.

No, in the future everyone will realize that trustless decentralized currency is a stupid concept and that there was nothing wrong with fiat anyway

the manufactured hysteria about arbitrum and the full display of crypto twitter's psychopathic greed is very reminiscent of 2017/2018, depressing but very bullish

Part of me feels like the last bull run was cryptos first real exposure to the normie market and it flopped. Everything lined up perfectly. Cheap, zero interest venture capital money, stimmy checks, people bored sitting at home, etc. We had A list celebrities shilling it, Super Bowl ads, zoomer streamer sponsorship’s etc.
But instead of mass crypto adoption by the public we instead got a new rug pull every week, embarrassing collapses of many major crypto companies, Monkey JPEGs, and tons and tons of scams. Most normies I have talked to about crypto recently have a negative view on it, where as a few years ago most didn’t know anything about crypto or knew a little had a slight interest in learning more.

Another part of me knows there’s a new sucker born every minute and in 5-10 years it could get another shot at rugpulling the normie market again.

Unironically BTC failed much harder than Altcoins at maintaining its narratives during this bear market

Plus the whole 2021 bull market was driven by DeFi

No. But we'll see better years than 2021, Which was pathetic run desu

Honestly, The fact we're at 2023 and crypto overall is only like $1T market is a blessing
