I really, really wish it was this easy. But there's a reason why all these rural towns are dying and seeing massive population declines year over year. I actually looked into small rural towns in NC, SC, GA, and TX during the pandemic.

1. No infrastructure.
2. Job prospects are bleak or non-existent, which matters for most people.
3. Aging populations. All the young people leave as soon as they can.
4. Many houses and businesses are vacant and have been for years, and it gets worse and worse as time passes. Some of the towns I drove through were more than 50% vacant.

My entire city, even my entire county is filled with methheads and MAGA rednecks who scrap metal for money and live in "homes" that would be cited for blight if the blight officer actually enforced anything.
