To those who revealed your crypto wealth to your friends/family, what happened after? Did they treat you differently? Did you regret it?

my family drugged me which made my heart slow down to the point coroners proclaimed me dead, they took my body back home to do an "at home" burial just to let me recover, by the time I woke up all my crypto was gone.

haven't told my friends but my family is pretty happy that I don't have to work. they haven't really treated me any different desu. I sort of just do the chores every now and then, on account of them getting kind of old. We watch the news at night time, maybe something on netflix.

It's been 2 years since I told them and they've been treating me just the same
Though, I live in a country with strong family and "friendship" values, also most of my friends and family are poorfags - I only became rich due to their support

what the hell anon

Two immediate family members asked me to buy them property and I refused. One chimped out and started rumors about me within the extended family circle, that the others believe because I'm kind of a loner and never tried to maintain appearances. The other one backed off. Everyone who knows is now wary of me but they won't sit down to have a straight conversation about life. I don't really try to have relationships with most of them anymore. Should have kept my mouth shut, but it's also freeing to see how people you trust act when you come up.

When a peer makes it or does better than the group, the goto rumor is him being immoral or somehow getting his wealth through amoral means.

So in >>54405580 example probably something like
>Dude, did you know anon made 10 million but wouldnt give his cousin 10k for his college tuition?

Of course anon didnt make 10m but the number will just get exxagerated and bigger with every time the rumor gets told. normies love gossoip like that.

So once the gossip is out there they watch the rumored-about anon and next time it may be.
>bro I got goyslop with anon and he only tipped 5$, crazy right? If I had 20m I would tip big!
>How did he even make money, he doesnt seem so smart!
>Hey I heard he went on a vacation to XYZ but his parents still live in an a tiny apartment even though he has 30m. wtf.
>I talked about bitcoin with him in 2016, he never thanked me or gave me a gift or anything even though I gave him the idea. Imagine being that ungrateful.

It can spiral out of control and before you know it they think you zuckerberged everyone and watch your every move whenever you meet them and then construe why your bad from any of your small irrelevant actions when meeting them and then gossip about you.

Not crypto, but trading. My family was chill, nobody asked for anything. Helping each other in times of need has always been normal in our family and of course I started doing that as well once I started making decent money, but nobody begged for anything. I couldn't imagine anyone from my family doing that.

I had one friend who asked me to manage some money for him, but I told him that it just wouldn't work because I couldn't trade with other people's money the same way I do with mine and I could give no guarantees that I wouldn't lose it all, so he backed off too.
