We do have some evidence but it's circumstantial due to the nature of how regulators will never give any information to the public other than by mistake and through sheer incompetence in failing a coverup. Archegos' total net margin exposure followed GME's chart, implying they were short us or were short something highly correlated to us. Credit Suisse asked Archegos to short something but it hasn't been disclosed what security that was, implying that it is a position they haven't closed yet, otherwise it would have been disclosed. CS mentioned gamestop and needing more collateral during the 'gamestop week' for their archegos swap. Archegos is also a tigercub and there are about 10-15 different tigercubs who all had public gamestop short positions. Melvin Capital, the most well known gamestop shorter, was also affiliated with several Archegos positions and is the whole tigercub/chase coleman trading group.
