they didn't want to participate in a shitshow camelot launch, best decision they've made so far, as well as launching on zksync era first. If you're retarded you wouldn't get it anyway, why launching at one of the top L2s at the earliest stage and having first mover advantage is top tier decision.

they didn't because their IFO start date happened on EXACT day as USDC (in which they conducted their presale along with dai and tether) deppeged to $0.8 and the entire crypto market shat itself with the news of silicon valley bank collapse, with the panic lasting for the entire 1 week they planned their crowdsale to run for. They're pretty confident in their project, that's why they didn't cancel or extend the presale, they even going to reimburse everyone who participated in IFO for believing in the project at such an early stage and pay them off through trading comissions.
