the FAGMAN recruiter emailed asking for details like my address, current income, and tentative starting date 2 hours after my 5th interview. does this mean i’m going to get an offer?

Recruiter for 10 years. Half of that shit should have been discussed in the first call.

If you've got any technical skills just go slap your res on ziprecruiter/indeed/LinkedIn. Go look up recruiters relevant to your industry and talk to them.

If not, go get a shit job while you develop yourself.

the process has been a bit strange, it’s for an overseas role and i haven’t even had a direct meeting with the recruiter, just interviews with managers and team leaders. i didn’t pass for the position after the first 4, and got called back for a 5th once another position opened.

i applied and can check my application status on the official company site, pretty sure it’s legit

You guys really still ask people what their current income is?

>> No.54388439

>>54388417
what? companies love to ask that because it gives them the upper hand in the negotiations

How much I make now has no bearing on my worth to you

>> No.54388529

>>54388417
Yup. 90% of people tell me too. I can get someone I've never talked to before to tell me how much they make within 5-10 mins on the phone with them.

should i have lied when saying my income? i earn literal minimum wage but didn’t want to risk missing the opportunity by lying

>> No.54388647

>>54388599
Idk your situation dude, but I've got a pretty good idea when someone is lying. I've been working on this niche field all these years kind of easy to spot the bullshitters. Minimum wage though? Fuck it embellish it a bit I say.

it’s a strange situation since all the interviews were mostly behavior questions, almost nothing related to the content of the job, I guess since it’s entry level and they just want to see if I’d be a good team member. i also said i could start in 2.5 weeks which might give them the idea that i’m desperate to leave my current job
