Yeah man. The reason animals engage in play is to develop their instincts, but games can make you smart too. Chess is proven to increase IQ, it’s like a workout for your brain. The brain is a muscle and it needs exercise to stay fit. Even action games probably help exercise your ability to make decisions under pressure. Many games like RPGs also promote careful planning how to efficiently achieve long term goals. Games are good for you, but can definitely spend too much time playing them as they’re meant to be addictive.

holy shit I hate to admit it, but with all the discussion of the new format in the 10k, ventured over to the cringemines.
Funny to see that "insider post" from here made it over. Who knows if it was legit, but Hooooooooooly Shiiiiiiiit the damage control being done about it. The mods, and particular usernames are going full court press over the possible discrepancy. One thing that stuck with me, is that this is exactly like what the SEC permits for an "overvote" situation, and tells the company to give a "trimmed" average. It seems very likely that plan vs. book made some large difference (holy shit was that the same "insider"?), enough of a difference for the equation to no longer balance. The new way of reporting sure seems like a canary to me, why the fuck would Gamestop be using Cede and Co in their quarterly report? it just jumps off the page as being...off. I had suspicions, but watching the orchestrated attempts to quell the conversation over the topic has the hair on my neck standing up. The same mods who were screaming that selling fractionals to keep your whole position in book was somehow gonna "bail out the shorts" are now screaming that it is "complete tinfoil" that the same company who tweeted comp poo chair, and Book King, could somehow be trying to convey the actual DRS count through their NFT. Pretty fascinating stuff really, and the mods over there and a few particular posters reek of damage control today.
