They're at a good price right now especially with the $7500 tax credit. However I would buy a low mileage 2021-2022 model as they have the ultra sonic sensors which have been removed from all 2023 models, which means no proper park assist until Elon decides to give those cars a proper update.

An addendum, if you insist on getting something "cool" get an 88 formula Pontiac Fiero. Bitches fucking love those little cars and you can easily get one around 3 to 6k depending on condition. Plus they're fuel efficient.

Leasing is a scam imo. Buy at the end of June when dealers are desperate to reduce their inventory before the financial year is up. Tell them you’ll finance most of it, they’ll lower the hell out of the price, and then put a larger down payment right before you sign. They make all their money on interest and financing. If they get pissed off and take the deal away just say ok and walk away unbothered. They’ll call you desperate for the sale in your terms a few days later. Then you tell them the deal their competitor offered and they’ll go even lower. Always play it cool.
