This whole CZ Binance thing is going to be the front and center distraction that crypto funds terrorism and they're going to try and ban crypto for real this time.
Then groups like Fidelity and Vangard will allow you to buy Bitcoin ETFs in a few months for "certified Bitcoin" or something fucking stupid like that. You know, Bitcoin you can trust isn't terror money.
>Bad for the environment
>Funds terrorism
>Breaks laws!
>Scary scary!
All the while, inflation, fake job numbers, meme politics, and crappier food.
But hey, Stranger Things Season 5 Part II Vecna Deep Throats Eleven While The Gummy Kid Watches is coming out soon so time to get a limited edition Funko!

If a currency can't fund terrorism then it's not real currency.

Are they gonna ban the internet too anon? How about modems, routers, cat5 cables? They would have to ban everything to ban crypto. The fact that so few of here know that saddens me greatly. BTC would be nowhere near its current value if it was so easily destroyed. It's resilience to govt censorship is central to its worth.

And yet there are certain things online that are illegal, such as JPEGs of children. You also can't legally download right-protected software or music freely either.
People made the same arguments for how it's impossible to shut down Kazaa and while technically you're correct, nobody's going to put on a Craigslist ad "Happy to meet up and exchange for Bitcoin (but remember to use Tor because it's illegal to transact)!"

Bitcoin was created in order to defeat them.

I can imagine Alex Jones shills Vanguard's BTC as the patriot way of investing "Vanguard! Decentralized quantum freedom! Grrr!" and Don lemon shills Fidelity's BTC as a green, diverse, and valid way of investing "Nazis keep attacking Fidelity! It's us versus them!"

No they won’t. Because it’s not actually about stopping terrorists, it’s about killing free range cryptos so that only approved cryptos and CBDC’s survive. BTC will still be around too but expect to get hassled by feds if you try to use BTC that has gone through official channels and deemed “clean.” The truth is plenty of major banks are used to launder drug money or even terrorist money, because these fronts are ran by intelligence agencies. But again, it’s not about actually stopping this or keeping you safe. It’s about control, money, and power.
