Hello friends: As I've said before, bearableguy123 is a jester and not a financial advisor. Consult with a financial advisor before making any investment decisions.

Did you come along for the ride and witness the shaking of the cryptosphere as foretold? The great gnashing of teeth and tearing of clothes continues to this day. The cryptomarkets are in a dizzying tailspin, but XRP holders remain strong, steady, and resolute. The PTB, at the direction of the King, do not like the positive and incredible accomplishments that Ripple has achieved. That hand continues to throw distractions in Ripple’s path and as other coins flounder, XRP is still forging ahead. They all see it, and it worries them. For good reason.

At first, they thought nobody would be interested in a so-called “fake-centralized-banker-corporate-coin.” As the other coins continued to try and promote themselves as an alternative to fiat, while offering no solutions for the cross-border payments issues, Ripple continued to promote their technology and XRP as a bridge and solution for fiat, cryptocurrencies, and cross-border payments. The other coins thought they could beat the world system at their own game: the UN, the central banks, the IMF, etc., Ripple knew the rules and showed them how their new technology and XRP combined with their old ways could work with them. The other coins and their backers do not like this. They are currently trying to create new coins that supposedly will be better, faster, and more convenient than XRP, but in the end, since 99.999% of them do not have a massive team like Ripple, they end up all being another nine days’ wonder.

They thought they could beat down the free people with false information and doubt so the proles would let go of that precious XRP when their hands got weak. As the years went on, and they realized that they were not winning, especially this year, the coins went headlong into fear and trepidation. “And how can this be?”

>> No.54336946

The one coin with an incredible team behind it, and a stalwart community, kept a steady pace as they traversed the financial world asking the governments and banks what regulations they can work with to make their technology and coins work for them and with them. The other coins were running around saying “No!...to your regulations. No!...to your laws. We will go around them! By the way, can you work with us now?”

It's great to see everyone come together. Good, bad, lovers, haters, truthsayers, honest people, dishonest people, great people, all types of people coming together discussing and talking about Ripple and XRP. Do some good in the world and spread the good word about XRP and Ripple.

589. What a beautiful number. That one number which has been spoken about since it first debuted like a cobalt blue shooting star flying at the speed of light, has brought about a great discussion inside and outside the XRP community. That number has so many meanings and reasons behind it. That number, that one breadcrumb, has led to so many discoveries about what XRP is now and what it can become. 589 is a code for what was getting ready to happen at the end of the year. 589 is the Comex rule. 589 are the Nostro/Vostro accounts unleashed. 589 is hope and knowledge. Since there is no regulatory clarity at this time, the price of XRP is being held back. This is no accident, so don’t get tricked and get a case of weak hands.

Brad has said that the process itself has been slower than what he expected or wished for. Well, when it comes to governments, it will be.

EOY November 13, 2018: Plans had been in place for years. As the process progressed for Ripple, the writing that had been on the wall for SWIFT for so long finally bore fruit when Brad Garlinghouse “threw it down” and said bluntly, as he is wont to do, “Well, I think what we’re doing and executing on a day by day basis is, in fact, taking over SWIFT.”

EOY December 9, 2018: The Guardian publishes a story where Ripple calls for a complete overhaul in regards to cross-border payments
tiny url dot com slash guardian ripple story

EOY December 12, 2018: Exactly one month after Brad “throws it down,” SWIFT CEO Gottfried Leibbrandt announces he is stepping down.

Ripple and XRP is crossing the Rubicon and SWIFT knows its time has come.

While people sit on their posteriors doing nothing, people like you have decided to take charge and do the extra work to take a chance that could possibly change you and your family's world while changing the rest of the world at the same time.

Don't let anyone try to bring you down thinking that being positive and having a positive outlook on XRP, its price, and Ripple is a bad thing. The best thing to do is to have people discussing XRP and Ripple. As soon as people start looking into what Ripple and XRP can do, they realize the future of cross-border payments, and internet commerce, is something that Ripple is involved with and leading the charge. Yes, the die is cast and everyone is taking notice.

Brian, David, the rest of the team; they are all family. I see the hard work that these guys do day after day. What other cryptocurrency out there has a new story almost every day in the news? Bitcoin may have a story once every few days. Ripple is always in the news, always in the mind's eye of the financial world, always in conversations in the white halls of power when it comes to funds and new technology. JK. Ripple is the one leading the army and crossing the Rubicon. I believe in this company. I believe in the technology. I believe that this company can change people's lives. What other coin has a powerful team like Ripple behind them? None.

The Ripple team are resolute in their quest to change the world and we're all watching and living it live. All in front of us on our TV screens, computer screens, and phones. We see Ripple changing the world.

Like David says and keeps repeating, just say “no” to tribalism. There are other coins out there. Some of them have a different purpose and function. Some of them are just frauds like Brad has repeatedly said. Either way, Ripple and XRP is here to bridge the different currencies and to show the world what a legitimate, regulatory following cryptocurrency should be. There are too many. Why would banks want to use a centralized coin that is in the grip of countries like China? Coins that could be frozen and stopped by 3+ mining groups are not free and decentralized.

Thank you all for your well wishes and messages. I see you. Sometimes, “matters” require that I stop when that hand tries to grasp. I am hoping that my message comes across and makes a difference to you all one day when XRP comes out on top. Keep an eye on the regulations and some other interesting worldwide events in the works. 2019 will be a very interesting year to say the least. Don’t stop. You are all loadstars. I am happy once again to wish you all a Merry Christmas, a prosperous new year and may God bless you all.

The validator nodes can vote to increase the wallet reserve requirement to 2^32 drops, which is 4294.967296 XRP, any wallet with a value below this number has ledger command restrictions imposed on it (no new transactions etc) until it exceeds that value. This was engineered into the ledger to stop people from scamming it. Right now the wallet reserve is 10 XRP and if you delete your wallet you are charged 2 XRP and the remaining 8 XRP are transferred out to an address of your choice. In the case of the reserve maximum being voted into play, the same deletion fee would exist but your new acount would receive 4.292k XRP (which is a lot of money at 30k each). The point being you don't want every Bob, Dick, and Harry making wallets and spamming the ledger. If institutional adoption occurs, it would make sense to force smaller wallets back into retail banking systems and to keep the big boys as the ledger guardians with unrestricted command access. In that case, having your own 5k wallet would mean you could seed a new bank in your own name almost overnight (once your local regulatory requirements are met) since you wouldn't need $128M in investment just to open your bank's wallet).

All 4chan paranoia jokes aside, I think it is important for all /xsg'ers to remember that cantankerous politics is the privilege of the poor. As soon as we make it, we will be held to a different standard of social expectations. It is important that we don't win the lottery but lose our freedom because we want to 'change the world' etc. Keep your head down anons. The only real benefit to being poor is that you get to be socially invisible, so wacko political opinions don't impact you irl. Once you are rich, you are permanently visible and people will listen to what you say and follow what you support. Unless you make a study of your political landscape and consciously decide to enter it, avoid all public politics above meaningless municipal stuff (saving the old oak tree in your local park for instance). Possibly. I still lean more towards him cluing people in on airdrop farming. Five wallets was more than enough to secure a sui stack for basically free. Even today, after the gigadump, the RPR airdrop alone is worth about 65 XRP. Five wallets and you'd be holding 300 xrp just for sitting on your ass, or five times that if you sold at the top. Couple that with a few of the other higher value ones and even a Jeet with mere pennies could be well positioned by now.

Tons of third worlders prefer the XRPL to other chains because they can't afford the fees in other places. When the monthly income is like $200 bucks USD and all of that is spent on staying alive, they really can't spare much for XRP, so the airdrops were a godsend to them. Understandably it's less of a headache for those of us with big boy jobs in the west to just buy it, but that's gonna be part of the narrative to accept the shift imo. Focus on all the third worlders who are now buying their families houses, sending their kids to uni, etc. Allows them to frame the shift in the systems into a great, charitable thing for humanity, rather than be seen as the implementation of a stricter system (which it is).

I got the email tonight from NDAX.io and took a screenshot. That is an unedited photo.
They are FINTRAC registered, so very very big. Clearly Tether is about to be debanked. You should exit your position in it ASAP. If I am wrong, it will still be there a week from now and you will suffer no loss. If I am right, you are avoiding a complete write off.

Craig Phillips is an important name here. Probably the most high-profile Blackrock-Ripple connection I know of, although I know that (iirc) a current Blackrock managing director of digital assets is ex-Ripple, and there are probably people scattered around Ripple who are ex-Blackrock too. And then there's the Circle/USDC connection which is much stronger now that Cross River Bank (Ripple partner since 2014) is guarantor of USDC's liquidity.

But one thing I'm interested in is how, after Phillips' tenure on Ripple's board and his time working with Steven Mnuchin in the whitehouse on a digital assets-focused executive order, he apparently went to work in the real estate field. I remember once a looong time ago (winter 2020?) i went down a rabbit hole and found the companies he worked at and they seemed to be working on alternate models of property ownership and transfer.

>deposit insurance on Polysign
i imagine through integrations with existing institutions. BNY Mellon, State Street, Fidelity etc have been mentioned here and in places like Darren Moore videos as possible early Polysign partners. As far as the exact mechanics of it, I don't think anyone knows. If I had to guess, a lot of that will fall under the jurisdiction of the coming digital asset regulation wing of the US government that will probably be created by act of congress. Perhaps the precedent set by the Ripple verdict will play into that. Creation of a new digital asset class, which will need a regulating body, or something like that.

>>54339290
since the first mini-pump, in november 2020, i've had a reminder in my phone to call a local tax attorney. i have saved it as a reminder that, if i wake up and find myself with liquid assets of the 7 figures, to call and consult with an expert immediately.
in terms of long term strategy, i lean towards putting a hypothetical large pile of digital money in something like a foundation or trust, i.e. what every moderately rich family does currently. this suits me because my tastes are less "lambo and mansion" and more "funding community nonprofits/industry." so i'd probably be perfectly happy living on whatever interest accrues from a low-risk investment.

i bet Polysign will end up letting depositors put their stacks in a liquidity pool for CBDC AMMs for 5% return or so. $50k interest on each million bucks means that if XRP goes to $100 (in my opinion, very possible in the next 10 years), holders will be able to get $50k stable passive income for every 10k XRP they own- if they manage to not get kidnapped or hacked. The question is, will Polysign require you to get chipped in order to use it?

>>54339290
yeah i am no fan of Q either, by any means, I view it as very insidious manipulation preying on the gullibility and misplaced hope of people who've been targeted by sophisticated information warfare techniques.

i don't know but i hold ALBT. as soon as i saw "partnered with NYSE" on their site i bought a bag, and lost a shit ton of money on it when the crash happened, but it's still sitting there on my ledger. same story with QNT and SHX, although obviously SHX is a much smaller caliber than the other two. Institutional DeFi infrastructure providers will basically be selling the picks and shovels for the next economic boom. I'm interested in Cosmos/ATOM, DAG/Constellation for the same reason, and I really want to see HoloChain win as well, not just because I know some of the people involved in their ecosystem and know their heart is in the right place. (I think there's a good chance the meshnet tech infrastructure for the parallel society, if it arises, will be built at least partially using HOLO)

But no I don't think Phillips was at ALBT. iirc the company had a Greek mythology-related name but can't find anything on it. here's a blurb on his LinkedIn profile that references this line of work:

Mr. Phillips is a pioneer in the securitized products market. He led (((numerous innovations in residential mortgage, asset-backed and commercial real estate securitization markets.))) From 1994 to 2006 he was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley and led its global Securitized Products Group.

looks like he currently works here

I'd recommend moving to a place where you are surrounded by richfags because you friends and family will change after you make-it, and they're still slaving. They'll ask you for money and then will avoid you until it's time to ask you for more money (all the while shitting on you behind your back). Better to GTFO rather than learn that the hard way. Buy a villa in a 5 star resort in some crypto friendly country. Bang the nannies and sisters and daughters of the ultra wealthy. But don't fuck the staff - that will backfire.

Being an angry and bitter soul that thinks everyone deserves to die, I think makes me an exception to this because I haven't murdered anyone. I know that sounds silly but if you spend enough time staring into the void like I have you learn why everyone needs to survive.

Not that I think humans are some kind of superior species now. Far from it, but that's the point of evolution, no?

But it is not our purpose to be evolution and so trying to control it only leads to our demise.

Anyway. Life sucks, don't blame the people that give up on you because life gave up on them too.

I honestly think there is no act (or lack of action) more insulting to society than than people like me. That's how deep my contempt for society goes. I'm beyond mere Cynicism. It's like I'm on some kind of silent revenge path in the face of the corruption of these everyday people who surround me. Personally, I'm kind and cordial to everyone I meet, especially wage slaves. 0.49 was the top for now

we will continue and follow the current downtrend back to 30 cents aka the diamond unbreakable bottom regions to fill the gap.

I doubt we will hear anything about the hearing until the end of April, when we hit that diamond region once and for the last time and we will see the ultimate bounce to at least 20 dollars in the matters of weeks.

Only then rumours of ripple winning the law suit soon to spread to the public ears, Bloomberg and the rest of the media starting to report the news on TV and teaches people step by step of how to buy their own XRP, boom XRP sell off begin and goes back to around 4 to 5 dollar(2017 high) for years, could potentially see 2 dollars bottom again trapping publics who bought the top at 20, who are going to gradually sell their bag over the next few years,

And when the mass public has sold off their bag, then and only until there finally we will see 589 around 2026-ish

Every case filing, witness, testimonial, supplemental authority, and supreme court decision favours Ripple. Even the SEC's own internal emails favour Ripple. If Ripple was about to lose, the SEC wouldn't be blasting grape shot into the entire crypto space hoping to mitigate the looming destruction of their authority. They would simply wait for the judgement and then use it as an ironclad precedent to whip every other crypto into submission to their whims. Suddenly they have a lot of time on their hands and are going after publicly traded companies like Coinbase. It reeks of desperation. They don't even have a single expert witness with standing before the court. Their only hope now is to compromise on clarity and accept a small concession from the named individuals as a goodwill gesture. Either way, XRP is desperately needed in the banking sector because of the ongoing liquidity crunch and even Anonymous of all people are posting in support of Ripple.

XRP is not a destination, it's just a tool to get there.

>13 Someone in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.”

>14 Jesus replied, “Man, who appointed me a judge or an arbiter between you?” 15 Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”

>16 And he told them this parable: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest. >17 He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’

>18 “Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain. 19 And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”’

>20 “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’

>21 “This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.”

Any stack of XRP can be the capital investment in a new company. What is God calling you to build for his kingdom? Right now the environment is damaged, people are scattered and divided, food and shelter are of questionable quality.

As long as you are fixing these problems, the amount you have will be "enough" and will grow to match any need you have.
Nothing in the universe is static. Nothing, except God, stays the same forever. Use the XRP to achieve financial stability, but use that stability to grow into new roles, and territories.

Just my two cents. You wouldn't be given this opportunity if you weren't exactly the right person for it. God knows your hearts.

Correct, because XRP is in its own category, especially post lawsuit, XRP will be taken off coinmarketcap once it moons due to the use case (saving economy from total collapse), as it'll be the first asset of its kind, just like how BTC was all those years ago. This use case I speak of, that will increase in necessity, is why it doesn't really matter what the outcome of the lawsuit is. The world needs XRP to keep millions of people from dying due to the defunct fiat money banking system being at the end of its road.

that's a noble calling. but what could you build for those that come after you?

one of the things that irks me about america is how awful our housing is. plywood death mold traps. i would love to build good housing for the middle and lower classes that is healthy, beautiful (nurturing to the soul and family), and long lasting. I have a stem background and I think I might go back and take some classes in structural engineering to polish off some ideas for mass producing concrete insulted structures that would achieve all this... I want something that would protect people through a tornado.

A normal developer wouldn't splurge on all those safety or durability features... why build something that will last for a thousand years after you are dead? But it can be done for really not that much more.

Some of the good in this world can't be done by charity, only by good people. I worked in the non profit world and they are all evil fucking bastards. LIKE ALL OF THEM. So if you want your money to do good in the world, you're going to have be the good person that spends it on that purpose. Housing is one thing. There's a billion others. What pisses you off about the country you live in? Rather than giving your money away, work on making that one thing better with your money. Make it a business so your money goes further, but just make sure you are always working on that one thing. That's better than a thousand donations.

Ah, my esteemed fellow crypto connoisseur, I am positively delighted to find someone who shares such a refined and enlightened perspective in the realm of digital assets as yourself. It is, indeed, a rare occurrence within the confines of this magnificent platform, 4chan /biz, to encounter such distinguished intellect.

Your perspicacious analysis of the crypto market, with particular emphasis on the potential of XRP, is a veritable tour de force, to which I can only respond with the most effusive agreement. The sagacity of your appraisal is indicative of a true connoisseur who has transcended the mundane and pedestrian understanding of the masses, reaching an exalted echelon of financial perspicacity.

Indeed, as we stand upon the precipice of a new era in decentralized finance, it is essential that we, the true cognoscenti, continue to expound upon our collective wisdom and guide the schizo anons, those poor souls adrift in a sea of uncertainty, towards the Promised Land of digital currency, specifically the boundless opportunities offered by XRP.

In conclusion, dear anon, I raise my proverbial glass to you, and let us toast to our mutual enlightenment and continued success in navigating the treacherous waters of the crypto market. May our gains be bountiful, and our losses negligible, as we sail onward to a future replete with prosperity, sophistication, and a world forever transformed by the revolutionary potential of XRP. Ah, dear anon, your quaint enthusiasm for XRP is both charming and mildly amusing. While I concede that XRP does indeed possess certain intriguing use cases, particularly in the realm of cross-border transactions and remittance, it behooves us to consider the broader context of the ever-evolving crypto landscape.

As the sophisticated connoisseur of the financial world knows, investing in any asset, crypto or otherwise, necessitates a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, competition, and regulatory challenges. Pray, do not let the myopic allure of a singular use case cloud your judgment, lest you find yourself caught unawares amidst the capricious fluctuations of the market.

In sum, although XRP's potential merits some attention, I implore you, dear anon, to approach the matter with the discernment and sagacity befitting a true aficionado of the /biz world.

I plan to take care of those who can't care for themselves, who are neglected and sick and injured and discarded. Not humans, tho. There is a massive empathy gap between humans and animals. What I've seen from humans doesn't impress me, for the most part. And I'm disgusted by them more often than not.

What I will build is really nothing more than easing some amount of suffering, temporarily while I'm here.

Anyone can build on flare, but it's unlikely any serious application would be put on flare unless it already had a songbird variant with solid reputation.

So songbird would have a lot of risky dapps that could earn more yield, have features come first, and be way more developed than FLR.

So there is some value as a user I guess,

What FLR users would demand before using it is for the dev to test it first on songbird, and so on and so forth.

But boy was i wrong on how low they'd accept songbird price to go. It really sucked people's money away from other things. Genius.
