Well depending on the place it could be dead easy work with the hardest part being getting through boot camp. The early retirement is the biggest draw though. The downside; again depending on place, you see,exposed to all sorts of shit. You see the worst parts of humanity. You have to hold yourself back from putting a bullet into a kiddie perv for example.

Depends, if you join a special unit where you chill in a fire house all day its pretty comfy. Being on patrol is a nightmare, you have to to deal with the lowest scum of society and working shift will unironically cause you to die before you reach your mid 60s. Riot control units are comfy too if you dont live in france kek

I have an advanced degree and in my best year pulled in $300k. But even I couldn't match what some of these corrupt police officers make.
