If you guys want crypto to be adopted everywhere, the what happens when people die and they can't pass on their coins? It would get locked away forever, and if you leave a key then you'll get cleaned out early. If enough people die and lock away their coins then nothing would be available anymore.

That's bullish. Imagine a world with 90% of all bitcoins in dead wallets, never accessible again.

When people die, they leave access to their bank account to whoever they want. With crypto, you can't do this because you need a password. How would you pass on your coins after you die?

Is that better?

How is this a bad thing, that's supply dropping. That's very good.
As for how to pass down a password, every heard of keeping a piece of paper in a safe?

I mean, money is for the living, it's not like I'm going to take a lot of stuff with me when I die, if I die tomorrow my shit on dext will be left as a memory of someone who tried, and that's enough

The amount of Bitcoin you own is a direct reflection of two factors. A) Your production of value and B) Your common sense. You are way short on B.

Crypto only has value because people think it will be widely used in the future. If a large chunk of the supply disappears or is un-usable for various factors, then people won't want to use it then.

Normies will store their coins in institutions. The point of crypto is to give you a choice, just like cash. You can hide it under your bed or turn it over to a bank.

Seal the envelope for each beneficiary. Record yourself sealing it. To the lawyer it's just a sealed letter.
You don't need to explicitly tell him it's a seed phrase.

Open two security deposit boxes. Put one half of your seed phrase in a sealed envelope in each box. Write in your will who gets the contents of those security deposit boxes.

You still don't get it. Bitcoin doesn't need to be widely-used for the price to hit $60k. There's no asset with a better risk-return.
