Also it depends on how far it's out. if it's 3 weeks to a month out it won't move as fast but you also wont lose as much money from theta. If the pa moves in your favor you can make safe money. Just make sure it's closeish to being in the money rather than goombling for it to dump 50% with 3 dollar contracts
If you're buying contracts like spy that expire next week, expect a ton of movement whether with you or against you. Also you'll have to eat a heavy theta regardless if you're correct or not. 50 dollar weekly contracts for spy gets hit with ~13 dollar theta loss per day for spy, so be wary of that.
