Given what we know about the current economic and monetary system and it's troubles ahead, what exactly is the bobo argument of green line NOT going up? It seems like there's no situation now, where assets like BTC don't go up. The only situation where BTC doesn't go up is the same situation in which most assets lose their value as well. Is that what bobo's are betting on?

A normie friend of mine said that crypto is doomed because of the bank runs happening. I asked why do you say that, since bank runs would show the world that these things can happen in a centralized and opaque system? He smugly said to me "Oh yeah? Then how are you going to sell your crypto now huh? The banks have run out of money. You can't even withdraw your savings. They're not going to let you cash out your crypto." I was absolutely fucking amazed at his stupidity. He thinks that the end goal of crypto is to make a bunch of money and then cash out. I must admit most of us are definitely in it for the money and not the tech, but normies still think crypto is just another fad and think it is completely unnecessary.
