If this is still a chainlink thread there is the argument that chainlink will be guardrails for AI because it controls access to blockchain data. several problems. blockchains dont have data AIs consume. Legacy institutions have this data. Blockchains are not used to write data onto them and if they are it is very expensive and usually not mundane data is written so any AI trained on blockchain ported data would have significant gaps. Google facebook and other legacy stuff has access to lots of data. Chainlink might link data islands but what sort of an AI would you produce with the data that is currently embedded in all blockchains
Does not seem like immutability is really a factor for AIs right now
Later on when censorship becomes an issue people like me would happily pay for immutability but this means that blockchains will never go mainstream because normies do not care about immutability, privacy, and other blockchain stuff. Blockchains could be useful in a fairer world but this is almost always a niche case.
