Wages have remained stagnant since the financial crisis when adjusted to inflation. People are working harder but for less money than people 15 years ago.

Protesting against these issues is socialism.

Everything that would change anything in a meaningful way is socialism.

So suck it up, buttercup - you will love capitalism until you are poor.

you did occupy wall street and your masters realized that you are becoming a threat to them so they introduced gender politics and black lives matters to you and made it look like it's the current thing by using millions of bots on social media, while you were busy with replying to their bots they robbed you blind. sad burger slaves, sad.

I suppose socialism would solve this in the sense that you won't be earning anything after getting lined up against the wall.

>Too busy working to find time to protest

literally this. Protesting is basically working for free. You'll have to take time off work and utilize a day of PTO (most workers have very little time off). Normally you'd use a PTO day to recharge after being burnt out, or if you manage to scrimp and save, you might use it for a small vacation or 3-day weekend. But to take time off, and use it to make signs, go to a protest, chant and march etc. It's a lot of energy, and there's no guaranteed benefit for doing it.

Because those same wages buy more even though inflation is up. Food is more expensive now but there are more quality cheap goods overall.

I seem to remember people being upset a mcdonalds worker would want $15 an hour then post pictures of a robot preparation concept specifically designed in an inefficient way to make the robot arm do the labor instead of just shit out pre-formed patties on a conveyer.

America is fairly comfortable at the moment, but if you look outwards you would see that Paris is currently on fire, the UK is practically in a general strike and many other countries have had protests or union strikes since last year or are on the brink of widespread protests.

Truth is harsh. It never bout fairness. At some point you realize that you dont want to work in the fields, you want others to break their back and bring fruits of their labor to you. Factory work will always suck and you will never find justice there. Humanity is evil by design.

Dark, too simplistic and banal. Just wanna say that life is so far from being fear that there is no way to make it right.
