If the financial system collapses and electronic ledger entries evaporate, cash dollars will 100x overnight. Massive deflation. You'll be able to buy a $50,000 car for $500. If you aren't hoarding cash, you need to sell your memecoins for paper bills while you still can.

Also any dollar denominated asset will collapse, all the more reason to sell your coins, gold, stocks, etc for cash.

Only survivalists would make it through that. It would be total chaos. Nobody would care about your paper.

Ledger entries arent going to evaporate. The fed will try to print it's way out of this, resulting in inflation

Theoretically, if all financial assets collapse, cash will win. The problem is as the government does bailouts and such, they necessarily will be devaluing cash. The monetarists are desperately afraid of deflation, and they even say they will throw money from helicopters to stop it from happening.
The real winners will be commodities, because all of the financial issues are fictions. The economy needs to clear bad debts and bankrupt bad companies. We will always need to produce commodities etc and they will ultimately be able to vacuum up excess dollarinos.

Why would the dollar have any meaning in any form in this scenario?

The Fed may keep itself afloat but a metric fuckton of MBS and corporate bonds and Muni bonds could all implode leaving massive losses for everyone to eat. The Fed is going to do whatever it can to keep the major banks afloat and will likely jettison everything it deems non-vital.

Why would they evaporate, anon?

Uncollectable debts are basically written off as losses. It's like having an "asset" to a credit card bill that a dead man can never repay. You can keep the entry on your balance sheet but it will never be actualized as any sort of revenue.
