parents send their kids to those schools not to learn english, well, not entirely. They send little Zhang and Nguyen and Kim to those schools to get them used to interacting with white anglos. They dont want little seang learning the mannerisms of poos and jigaboos, if tgey wanted that they can just take a family vacation to canada

This, and it's a flex. Parents love to flex and a huge flex is having your kids in a White mans class. Shameful to have to send your kids to get taught english from a filopina, nog or jeet.

It's pure "muh white western teacher" flex
I'm EU ESL that spent a month traveling Vietnam by bike and they offered me multiple times a teacher position in some villages/small cities and my English is fucking shit and my ESL accent pretty obvious. (Shitty pay but house provided) Never accepted because, well I already have a job and I was on holidays.
It's the excellent excuse to fuck local cuties if you don't care about the money and you have months to waste I guess.
