Groceries do cost more when they're cooked and delivered to you as a completed meal.

what exactly do you buy in bulk? the only items in your grocery cart should be fruits, vegetables, and meat.

Cereal, granola bars, candy, pasta sauces & pasta, rice, they have all sorts of stuff including frozen pizzas, veggie & regular burgers, eggo waffles, whatever you like. The only stuff I don't get there are vegetables and fruit.

Lol lmao buying steak at the store vs restaurant is damn near the same shit, just with a hell of a lot less dishes to clean. Eggs, bacon, and milk run will cost $35-40 dollars. IHOP probably cheaper at that point just don't tip lol

Alcoholic beverages, paper plates, plastic cutlery, cleaning supplies, meats (specifically bacon), cheese, eggs, butter, canned goods. These things are great to pick up at Costco because you can freeze the food you won’t be using for a bit and save a fuckload of money on future bills.

Definitely, also toiletries like soap, mouthwash, they have great deals on razor blades, all sorts of crap you use all the time.

literally just collect the shit they throw away, most of that stuff is still not past the expiration date. I know a guy who does it and he saves more than 800$/ by doing it. they even throw away wine, beer and liquor its insane. Bad thing is, summer is coming up and due to the heat its going to be difficult to find good stuff thats not rotten.

this is me over the last 6 years... $20~40 spent on DoorDash, every day; averaging $1,000 per month

during the last six months I've mostly managed to break the habit and cook at home (if I do eat restaurant food I force myself to physically drive to the restaurant and generally I will only go to a restaurant if I have a coupon)

if you can afford to spend $2k per month on UberEats you probably have a sweet six-figure job, and maybe it's worth $2,000 per month to save you 1~2 hours a day that you'd otherwise spend cooking and cleaning up

You can get a fuckton of bread flour too, at least I've seen it at Sam's Club. Also the hummus there is significantly cheaper than alternatives

Low 6 figs annually (basic pay) here
The $1.2k~ or so a month is definitely worth the time save.
Dont have to leave my house, dont have to cook or clean, just get to relax do my own stuff until the food gets placed on the table outside my house.

I literally spend 120€ a month on average and I‘m fit. You guys need to understand that the vast majority of take away food is literally poison for your system. Image filling up your car with some gas but also some fucking Pepsi, piss and syrup. Overweight people are brainwashed and disgusting

>> No.54202296

>>54201893
Wrong. Let's say groceries cost 500 a month instead of you paying 1200 which saves 700. If you do that for a year you have 8400 extra which you can put into some sort of investment for say 6% compounding per year. If you keep adding 700 to it every month for 10 years you would end up with 125k. Think about what that would do for how fast you can retire. There's also the bonus of not eating goyslop so you actually live to enjoy your retirement. Get your shit together and stop being retarded with money.
