This. It really doesn't matter when you bought in, the fact is LINK has been performing like absolute shit for 3 years now. There's no getting around it. I found Sergey's tone to be overall pretty weird in the podcast. He basically seemed angry at the holders, when anyone with an ounce of empathy can understand why token holders aren't going to be very happy at the moment. It just struck me as an odd tone for the leader of an organization/company/whatever Chainlink is to have.

I posted it in the other thread that's up at the moment but I'm unironically having concerns about Sergey as the big Chainlink boss (he doesn't call himself CEO, not sure if this is because of SEC paranoia because the moment he calls himself a CEO he has a legal obligation to maximize shareholder value). Up until SmartCon 2022 I didn't really have a problem with him. Sergey generally seemed well-spoken and there was that charming degree of autism you kind of need in this space. However, when Sergey got on stage with Schmidt and had NOTHING to say beyond "makes sense", "I agree", and nervous laughter I was genuinely shocked. I couldn't believe that's all he had to say. The so-called philosophy nut was on stage with one of the most influential business leaders of the 21st century and had nothing to say.

Now with this latest podcast I just don't really get where his head is at. He seems angry, even he can't believe how long this stuff is taking. What Sergey doesn't realize is that for all the good work that Chainlink is done, the value proposition of going all in on DLT is still not there. Interoperability is still an unsolved problem (cough cough CCIP...), the accessibility and general UX of onboarding people into DLT is still an absolute nightmare. Sergey seems almost out of touch for him to feel frustrated at the lack of adoption. I would have expected he would have a very clear understanding about why adoption still isn't there yet.
