I used to think biz was a joke in terms of mover/opinion ability but I started seeing more and more scary shit and apparent ultrawhale insider knowledge being thrown around after being here for a while. Biz is also being actively astroturfed, which means powerful people think it is important.

I think biz is marked as a kind of hub between various communities that are often echo chambers. If you plant seeds in biz, it has a high likelihood of trickling down into many many different reddits, discords and forums if its well planted.

I don't think biz "runs anything", but its more like biz is the most diverse forum in terms of who comes here and what opinions they have and what part of the crypto space they care about. That matters.
