Yeah this is the interesting part of the liberal discourse to me. I consider myself a liberal, but when you juxtapose me with these fucking morons who can't understand why black people don't have access to any fresh grocery , i seem like a total conservichud. The simple fact is that Black people shoplift so much from grocery stores in their city neighborhoods that it's not worth it for store owners to set up shop there.

And you know what validates this analysis?

The fact that is that if you go to inner-cities, you'll observe that Chinese, Latino, Indian city neighborhoods (SF, New York, etc) all have fresh grocery places because their primary clientele aren't shoplifting left and right.

You go to Little India or Chinatown in those inner cities and they have fresh vegetables, like fucking tons of them. I was very impressed with the inner city grocery selection when I went to Chinatowns and Little Indias, and Hispanic groceries. I thought to myself, "what food deserts?". How can there be food deserts if im seeing all these city neighborhoods with amazing grocery stores run by mom and pops?

And then I realized, it's because i wasn't in the black neighborhoods in the city

Yes, in a way. Every year you sum up the capital gains for trades you finished/closed and subtract the capital losses for trades you closed. That's what you report to the IRS the next year and pay (or get refunded on) in April.

Note this means you can end up having to pay if your losing trade isn't closed by December 31st. Because for that tax year you've booked a gain but no offsetting loss.
