Bitcoin is not always about making money anon. Yeah, its good if you are extremly green. But for me, bitcoin means that my ex wife and her lawer cant fucking steal from me or my bank cant freeze my fucking money like its happening right now in US.

bitcoin value is based on market cap which is based on what people have paid for a bitcoin.

The more people that need it. I.e. wives with financially controlling husbands, countries with hyperinflation, bank collapses. The more valuable it becomes because there is only so much going around.

Bitcoin has no competitors because shitcoins aren't a place of safety for people in trouble. They might have a value in their own right but thats a different conversation.

It does have value. Just probably not to you or anyone around you.

I think bitcoin was always designed this way. Undervalued at production because there is so much that it needs to correct along the way. As more people buy in, there are desperate people who benefit and it changes their lives.

I truly believe that it's not about me making millions of dollars but someone else making enough to get out of their shitty situation and maybe, just maybe, they will be able to help us fight the same battles in privileged countries. That's the point in HODLing. Buy every day and spend every penny you can spare. Probably a more charitable action than donating to charity.

It's actual real money, not a (((promise))). Almost everything else you can invest in, somebody else can print theoretically unlimited amounts of. Even if you don't get diluted due to that, you having access to your shit depends on some third party. BTC is a massive hedge against the failure of third parties, which seems to be becoming more relevant every day. I wouldn't recommend anyone goes all in, but having some self-hosted BTC seems incredibly prudent. And none of that has anything to do with it going to 100k. If it moons, that's even better.
