Resale is tight (if you're buying used), they're fun, and they pull roasties. What's the financial downside here? Not going to be putting a lot of miles on it so not worried about maintenance.

You're dumb as fuck if you think that a 13 year old Italian supercar doesn't need maintenance if you're "not putting a lot of miles on it".

>>54121362
c'mon bro, how much could it need beyond an oil change? Keep it for two years, have a shit ton of fun and then sell for profit. Put new rubber on it and get your money back +
the whole "lambo's are unreliable" is a meme

depends on your networth, if you are only worth like 200k then buying it would be retarded, but if you are worth about 1.5 million or more, having a fun car would be decent. for example, if you have a 400k house paid off and 1 million in crypto go for it. also age is important, if you are under 40 then it would be fun. but 85k at the bottom of a bear market would be upwards of 5x that so it would be stupid in that sense. i honestly wouldn't do it, cars do no appreciate as far as i understand, so they are for the well off.

They get their money. Its gonna cost you alot to register and plate the vehicle. Then the insurance is a fortune. And then theres money pits surrounding the mechanics and how they squeeze you.

Only certified mechanics that have spent like half a million dollars on software can retrieve codes. But shit man buy it. Get fucked up and wrap that bitch around a phone pole on Biscayne

Lambo is owned by Audi now and apart from the seethe here, does anyone on /biz like to have fun?

>> No.54122029

All supercars/luxury vehicles are unreliable. Richfags lease them and get it maintained for free at the dealership, then the dealers sell them to you just as shit starts breaking. Btw an oil change on a lambo costs $5k. If you have $85k cash you can buy a more fun and practical vehicle.

bro, cmon, that's such weak fud. it's like max $500 for this car. I'd drive it to Miami (1K miles) throw some new rubber on it and get all my money back.

Huracans are probably the most reliable supercar ever. Even when you turbo/surpercharge them. Even with YEARS of abuse. Its well documented on how well these cars hold up even with tens of thousands of miles of abuse done to them.

100k mile Huracan

There's a few reliable supercars, but Huracans are S tier.

I remember Gallardos being ridiculously reliable as well, handling crazy amounts of boost with just e85 and going forever.

>> No.54123075

>>54122934
They can be for sure. Avoid the earlier year models like the plague if you want it to last. Lots of early TT Gallardo's blow pretty easily. Superleggeras are pretty sensitive, but later Gallardo models are a solid A tier.

Make sure you go to a legit shop that specializes in them if you're doing heavy modifications. With bolt ons or stock you can beat on them pretty good and they hold up.

Outside of the $$$$ you use on your basic expenses, money you don't spend is money lost. Especially when it just goes towards things like retard hookers who just spend it on drugs or supporting Tyrone.

Throws check engine light. Because exhaust. Also its got a straight pipe. So it doesnt have the proper amount of backpressure on the engine, which can cause early engine failure. 180k. Also illegal in California etc.
