It's been sitting there for over a year now. I decided that I want to buy Treasury Bills instead of having my money eaten away from inflation.

Which t-bills would you recommend? 4-week or 3-month? And how would you suggest structuring the ladder schedule? Anyone else in the same boat? Thanks for the advice /biz/

I don't really qualify for a loan (don't have 2 years worth of consistent income for one) and I want to stay liquid. Realestate isn't liquid at all, which is why I want to stick with short-term t-bills.

will ask here because why not. I am a literal finance retard, I have never filled out a tax report so keep that in mind. I have around 70k€ in savings just sitting in my bank account. My bank offers me 3,66% in "saving bonds", dont know how that shit is called in other languages. They basically get my money (planning with 60k) for 6years and I receive like 13k back with a monthly payment. the money is insured up to 100k and this seems better than just letting it rot on my bank account. I dont believe in crypto btw.

You buy treasuries through an account at TreasuryDirect.gov and you should probably google how to buy at over trusting anything on this dead piece of shit board but just remember that a lot of short term yields are roughly comparable to what you would get in a high yield savings account
