busd is minted by paxos, the sec claims busd is a security (a fucking security is something bought expecting gains so there is 0 changes a stablecoin is a security).

As a result paxos can't mint more busd until they fix the problem with the sec, but paxos can exchange 1 busd for 1 usd in a bank account but nobody in crypto wants to exchange it in the kosher banking system for tax reasons.

So binance has been buying busd from everyone moving to tether and now they are redeeming them for usd which they then redeem for btc & eth.
