Get a trade degree as a plumber, mechanic, etc.
Get a basic degree in plumbing or mechanics, advanced lines of manufacturing.
Move to India and get first dibs on high paying jobs because of your Western clout.

Well sir, you need to bring out the old EAP:

*Pay all debts
*Secure job
*Assemble emergency fund
*Start savings
*Invest in yourself(recession proof skill)
*Get better job(if possible)
*Invest in assets(stocks, precious metals, real estate (if not a home, some land will do))
*Get passport +(foreign citizenship)

Then just hold on tight.

It's bad son but not over. Find an entry level job, warehousing or something, making up orders. Grind for 6 months, look dependable and see if they'll pay for your forklift ticket. Forking is easy and fun, beats manual handling shit any day, so keep grinding on the forks for a year or so, maybe try learning the inventory management systems as well while you're at it. If you're smart and dependable you'll get to supervisor pretty quickly as staff turnover is really high. With some experience and marketable skills you can then start looking for roles that are similar but you haven't done so you can increase your skill set while bumping up your wages. Pretty quickly you can have a career in logistics and warehouse management. No one's fantasy job but serviceable.

That's even better. Just go out there anon, nothing to lose. Just start thinking that you need to hoard assets, resources is the name of the game. You view yourself as a business, go do deals, keep expenses down, invest in business (you), give a dividend when things are good, cut the fat and non productive activities off, and build a balance fortress(Jamie Dimon style).
