They're saying transfers made on Thursday will resolve, and also coincidentally svb made a transfer on Thursday. No connection and you're a nazi if you ask any more questions

>> No.54051584

I find it hard to believe you can just wire $3 bil the night before bankruptcy and they have to give it to you.

That said, I've bought and holding USDC to arb because even if they didn't they can still easily satisfy 1:1 redemption.

>> No.54051604

Circle / USDC technically prompted the bank run when they did the wire request of 3.3 billion . SVB needed 2.3 billion they didnt have

-100% downside

A client moving their funds to another bank should not trigger a financial crisis in any properly functioning financial system.

>> No.54051828

>>54051791
Only 8% of the funds were affected so below about 92 cents there was literally 0% downside. You were a retard if you sold. Now its pretty clear the money will probably be entirely recovered.

If that's the case that's illegal, like, so illegal that the fed will need to get involved or there's going to be banker wars where they are all trying to kill each other.

The SEC is going to get involved and so will the government otherwise the bankers themselves are going to kill EACH OTHER

Just watch

>> No.54051879

This lol, worst case the whole in USDC's balance sheet was $3B out of the coin's $40-some billion market cap. The sky was never falling.

>> No.54051880

>>54051791
>-100%

Please learn what backing is, this isn't some jeeted shitcoin, it's a 40b company thats doxxed out the ass with every possible financial license and watched like a hawk by the SEC. They can't just fuck off with that backing money, especially since the vast majority is held in treasury bonds.

It should not but this is not a properly functioning financial system we are dealing with here.
It's a house of cards built on zero interest rates, easy credit, and central bank liquidity.
Literally none of the banks have enough money on hand to cover even a fraction of customer deposits.
In 2020, the Fed lowered the reserve requirements but they haven't raised them back despite claiming that they want to fight inflation. I think the reason they haven't done so is because they know that if they do, they'll risk even more banks going under.

>> No.54052025

>>54051992
Sure, but then its not crypo that caused it. It wasn't crypto that made some retard bank managers invest client deposits into long term MBS or venture capital loans.

>> No.54052082

The only reason crypto is where it even is today is because of fiat

3 billion is nothing in the usa, also peter thiel was telling for a few days to leave the bank.

Everyone knew something was fucked up, circle was actually late leaving if this is true, they barely made if the post is real data.

So they probably did not had good data in fact they would be pretty late to leave the bank since startups got info from their venture funds to leave for a few days.

This is who you're trading against.
This is who would tell you to buy bitcoin, when what he posted basically applies for BTC.
Only use stables and lowcaps anons.
