Let me preface this by saying:
Society is completely ruined, there is no way to salvage it, the only solution is total collapse and a ruthless genocide of all leftists, jews, niggers, and other shitskins.
If you're at all sane you would stop working, form gangs, live off crime and welfare, and send women to work and force them to give you the money, using all proceeds to fund your family and "influence campaigns" (terrorism) on jewish society.

here's what you asked for:

don't worry SVB has straight A's, this will all blow over

btw this rating system is retard-tier, it's generated by their reports to the FDIC which are also fairly opaque, you need to know exactly what kind of investments they have, what exactly they have been buying, which should all be public information but I dunno where to get it.

but at least the FDIC filings break down their assets into several categories and vaguely rates the risk of their assets. you can get some sketchy idea of how they're doing business by looking at things like commercial real estate (guaranteed to lose money)

oh WOW the FDIC scrubbed all the financials just now.
holy shit.

But anyway you could see their risk-adjusted assets were like $112 billion which was half of their total assets (lmfao) and their capitalization was like 8% (roflolmao), this is an absolutely cartoonish red flag, if you're looking for good short sell moves in this carnage you're probably going to have to dig deeper than these metrics, but hey if you saw this an acted on it last week you'd have made it.

Doesn't that just mean the bank has more poor people with less than 200k in their accounts? Wouldn't a bank with a bunch of rich people that don't meet the insurance limit mean the bank is more likely to get bailed out and actually return its customer's money? While plebs in heavily "insured" banks will be told to take a hike?

>> No.54026697

they deleted all of SVB's information. As in now you can't compare it to other banks, they're manipulating the market to stop runs.

No, if the insurance rate on bank X is 100% that means the FDIC covers 100% of deposits. That makes a run on bank X pointless.

>> No.54027407

>>54027349
you mean unless the FDIC funds, which are a TINY percentage of bank deposits that are insured, run dry or unless people think they will

#4225 (53%) is the Wells Fargo you know.

Btw, being among the Big 4 (JPM, BAC, WFC, C) adds another layer of safety because they are held to much more rigorous standards by the regulators (since they are considered 'systemically important').

SVB was not regulated as a TBTF bank, and only 5% of its deposits are insured, so it's the worst of both worlds.

>>54027407
I'm assuming one bank (or a small percentage of banks) fail, not a total collapse of the monetary system. In the latter case, the options range from Congress replenishing the FDIC war chest to everyone being shit out of luck, depending on the severity.
