>friend starts talking about their bank account being basically empty
They act like it's the bank's fault for charging them for shit they bought at a random time instead of the one specific 3 hour window when they had money in their account.

>about to mention the next place I'm traveling to and they say they're putting our restaurant meal on a 6 week repayment program in an app

>friends spend hundreds a week on restaurants but claim they can't pay off their student loans

Gentlemen, it's time for me to ditch my lower class poorfag friends. How do I make friends with people who don't suck at money? Do I need to hang out at a golf course? I'm willing to do it but I want friends in 20s-30s age range, not geriatrics.

They're not really a scam, more of a g*yim trap. There's a sweet spot of retards getting paid more than they can intellectually manage for themselves, so the credit card allows them to pay 25% more than the sticker price and unburden them of "savings" or "investments". And let's be real, they're happier this way. They get bigger toys, now, when they want them, and they don't have to think about hard things like "interest rates" or "budgeting". A good g*y can live their entire life carrying multiple credit cards maxed out making minimum payments, the principal of which can be easily recouped by the lender when the borrower passes away by liquidating all their personal belongings.

If you're not a good g*y, you can simply pay off the balance each month or eschew credit cards altogether.

This is a good one. I respect people who say they don't trust themselves with one, but acting like getting 3% back on Amazon purchases and paying nothing for it as long as you pay it off at the end of the month is a scam is dumb.

>>54016417
Top-tier bait.

>>54016705
I seriously don't know what their problem is. The young-millennials seem to be the worst with money. Some of them are findom-tier in their need to spend all their money on inane shit. At least boomers buy boats and kitchen remodelings.
