The social contract operates on the premise that working hard and being kind will get a return. This can be kindness in return, good compensation for work, etc. Now it's blatantly obvious that all that is bullshit. This is especially true for young males. All of this was anticipated a decade ago. 'Enjoy the decline'. The mainstream is finally waking up, but while they can diagnose the problem they have no idea the solution. Look at it realistically, some of which is "pol-shit":

- General post-war decadence fueled by hundreds of years of hard word mostly done by the West and optimism takes over. Everyone is super fat and happy.
- Women enter the workforce likely due to men being weak and decadent, capitalist desire to double the workforce and cut pay across the board, government incentives to raise/educate/feed children.
- Rapid spread in entertainment and communication technology lead to rapid transmission of ideas that would normally take hundreds of years
- Fertility drops as it always does during times of financial success and lack of war
- Foreign cultures/races imported due to fertility drop, capitalist desire for more labor
- Self-absorbed generation (boomers) live in complete abundance, revert from the past cultural norms of saving, rationing, and passing on to children
- Lower food quality, pollution, medication, sedentary lifestyles lead to lower testosterone and a more complacent populace, further enabling the slide

This all led to the side-effects you feel that cause a lack of social cohesion:
- Your neighborhood is filled with people that don't look like you, don't talk like you, may not like you (this is a natural anxiety inducer)
- Men are sexless, women are simply living their natural inclination to breed with the best only
- Financial struggles
- Literal weakening of people, mental illness due to health complications (usually a buildup of things like no sunlight, bad diet, sedentary life, micro-pollution, etc.)
- Mass media psyoping you all the time for marketing
- No real purpose since child-bearing and warfare are largely things looked down upon by the up and coming generations

Lots more to it than that, but those are some heavy hitters.

Society is actually reaching an end state, but it will take another 10-50 years. It may never revert back though.
