Please no trolling.
I am using the piece of shit SYLO app to try and send some ETH.
I copy/paste the address and press send.
On the confirmation screen, the address is the same, but a lot of the cases are changed.

I looked it up so Im not a noob, it says the address itself is case-INsensitive.
In other words it should be fine, right bros? (no trolling)

yes it's fine, just check etherscan with both spellings and you'll see that it points to the same address. would be a nightmare if it were case sensitive.

well what that app display doesn't have to be in any way related to what it is broadcasting in the end. another reason why hardware wallets are awesome, because they let you double check the address on an external device before signing.

install this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Noxik2pZWV4 it will help you check the end address is correct and you're not hacked.

not sure what you mean with USB, the hw wallet is a real computer in itself, and pretty much all of them come with a display. when your wallet app wants to create the transaction then it needs a cryptographic signature, which is currently just provided by the same wallet software, so it could be faulty. if you have a hw wallet your wallet app needs to request the signature from the hw wallet, and the hw wallet will display the address you are sending to on its display, so that the app itself cannot fuck your over with faulty data.
