I'm newish here, obviously saw lots of LINK threads and conflicting information so decided to do my own research.

I get it, it looks fundamentally good and all... but the chart looks like every single shitcoin that ever had a huge bubble pump and then popped.

It seems this whole market depends on hype cycles and LINK is majority excluded from them, so why would I buy this? It seems like a good very long term hold but not likely to make you much money until maybe 10+ years from now.

>it looks fundamentally good and all
huh? what are you on about? be specific
>but the chart looks like every single shitcoin
correct
>seems like a good very long term hold
based on what??? if a crypto fails to generate hype when it's born it dies, we've had 14 years to realize this.
>make you much money until maybe 10+ years from now.
what??? what makes you think it will survive on subsidization for 10 more years??
your post makes zero sense and it reads like shilling desu

DONT BUY IT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD IT'S A SCAM TURNED CULT

>> No.53981882

you had 2 years to mine btc for pennies and 2 more years to buy eth under $5
4 years in total, but you chose to go all-in on a shitty altcoin because some anonymous autists convinced you it's the god protocol and that it would have an "ETH-like run"
congrats, you've been played

here's the question you have to ask yourself: does crypto itself have any actual value? If yes, then LINK will be the be-all-end-all, because the oracle layer is inherently monopolistic and none of this shit has any application without end-to-end-secure real-world data. If no, then it's all speculation until the music stops permanently.

>so why would I buy this?
because at some point they'll price everyone out of it and we don't know exactly when that will be. could be tomorrow, could be two weeks, could be a decade. but missing out means you and your bloodline will remain poor for eternity so it's worth it just to buy and hold.

Such a retarded post. I hate when normies type carefully so as to try and conceal their complete lack of independent thought.

So you "Did your own Research" and don't understand why the base layer enabling the internet of value is important? You don't understand how a project that is the de facto industry standard that enables every other blockchain platform to bring in offchain data in a trustless manner could possibly moon in less than 10 years? You don't comprehend the tokenomics that will allow LINK to capture value into its ecosystem, or how the staking structure incentivizes growth?

You are a disingenuous person, and also?
You hold LINK.

Stop fudding, it's time to set the truth free. 1k eoy

boils down to this: a lot of us think its undervalued so we still talk about it. if we didn't think it would go through another hype cycle we would not be holding it or discussing it's price regularly. and furthermore we're excited about it's potential. many other tokens/cryptos that have pumped and dumped, the vast vast majority of them, are past their hype cycle and they might have an echo bubble in the next bull run. we think link will go to new heights. that's basically it.

no1 makes money with ssl/tls
your argument doesn't hold any water if the token's value doesnt scale with usage

The only problem with Chainlink is how long you might have to wait. Meme coins will probably be quicker but you have to actually hit on the ones you choose.

The only way you lose in the long run with LINK is if all of crypto dies (which is possible but unlikely).
