It doesn't because inflation is over retard, it was always transitory. One bad month doesn't cancel a downtrend since June. It means soft landing as the base case with no landing as a distinct possibility.

>The US economy (eg the Tech sector) is leveraged to the tits on cheap liquidity from the past 10 years.
Blue chip tech will be fine and can lift the market by itself.

Doesn't matter if they're total scams, as long investors can find someone else to sell to, which they will be able to as everyone will be forced to chase the NASDAQ to ATH.

I know no one wants to hear this but it really is retail moving the market with 0dte. All the smart money left to buy bonds and now it's a bunch of redditors propping up the market using massive amounts of leverage. They can be retarded for a long time so who's to say we can't have a recession, high interest rates and a booming market? To add some color to this, in my back tests I've concluded that you should mostly stick to stocks with at least 10 million dollars of average volume over the last 20 days so you don't get stuck in some low volume biomeme pump and dump. The theory being that if a stock already has high volume and deep liquidity prior to the pump then the pump has a lot of buy in from a good cross section of investors so the pump is likely to be sustained. AI which is pumping hard today for example has something like 800 million dollars of average volume over the last 3 weeks which is the highest for all the big pumping stocks today. That's the one to focus your trading on. And if you look at the chart you'll see that the thing just keeps going with regular small pullbacks. A stock with almost 1 billion dollars of daily volume has institutions pumping it. Why the absolute FUCK would you not get in on this thing?

I don't even understand why "retail" is allowed to trade at all. American businesses are the backbone of the world economy and shouldn't be used as a get rich quick scheme by stock bros. All this does is hurt the rest of us. One should be allowed a once yearly contribution to a retirement plan of professionally selected mutual funds. If you need to sell you should be allowed a maximum 10% of total portfolio value per year. Anything more would be harmful not only to America but to the so-called traders themselves

>"The financial lifeline that pulled Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. from the brink of bankruptcy last month is already at risk because of the retailer’s tumbling stock price."

>"The equity financing, led by hedge fund Hudson Bay Capital, provided the company with $225 million upfront, with the promise of another $800 million over the coming eight months. Bed Bath & Beyond Chief Executive Officer Sue Gove on Feb. 7 trumpeted it as a “transformative transaction” that would give the company time to mount a turnaround."

>"Yet the additional cash has strings attached. Among them: Future injections are contingent on Bed Bath & Beyond maintaining a weighted average stock price of at least $1.25 or $1.50, depending on the timing, according to a regulatory filing. The deal terms allow Hudson Bay to waive those conditions if it wants."
