So, what happens when the US defaults on its debt this summer? How can i make a profit off this?

>> No.53903053

Long interest rates, hyper inflation will hit and the printing presses will erupt.

Short the biggest US corporations obviously. Those with significant outstanding debt ratios will pay the best.

Obviously if you live in the US then this is a meaningless discussion, your life is gonna become invariably worse than now.

they can sell new bonds to the fed to lower rates to negative
>but powell
powell either buys or gets replaced by a tranny nigger jew or whatever biden finds funnier
USA will just shift into full MMT
despite what has happened, the fed doesn't fully admit to be practicing MMT and financing the debt

>> No.53905204

>>53905193
I said despite what has happened so far, because everything the fed does is a small (but ever increasing) dose of MMT

>> No.53905216

so when they finally OPENLY admit to MMT
that's when the floodgates open, there is no fiat to hide then, since everything has US bonds in their balance sheet

I’ve wondered about this and thought if it is possible to buy reverse bonds like insurance on the federal bonds

Just like the reverse mortgage bonds in 2008
