This board, for the majority of its life, has been dominated by Chainlink threads. More than ETH, more than BTC. It's gone from $1 to $7 in 6 years. Every breadcrumb has been proven wrong or died out. This is starting to resemble a glowie operation to prevent this board from making money
>Shills brainlets like John Wolpert and Yorke Rhodes who have done zilch in half a decade
>Shilled Blythe Masters as the golden connection and a /biz/ info supplier
>Shilled Arbitrum and how Chainlink will validate using FSS vaporware
>Shilled Coinbase Layer 2 Base as using Chainlink
>Spammed /biz/ with staking for years, price is below pre-staking launch
>Shilled each and every SmartCon as the one where it will happen, price is below the first SmartCon
>Shilled Fidelity showing up to SmartCon, they only care about Bitcoin and Ethereum
>Shilled Oracle using Chainlink and an entire integration that never happened
>Shilled CCIP as the endgame, never happened
>Town Crier, Mixicles, DECO, fss, reputation, neet nodes, none of it happened
>Thought SWIFT would make Chainlink go on an Ethereum tier moon mission
>Thought they would get BUIDL rewards from staking
>Now the latest scam is Vodaphone after the Coinbase shit didn't work

Mods need to seriously consider stopping all Chainlink threads and making them start a general. This is incredible astroturfing going on. Anyone who bought LINK after the ICO is poor while crypto went 100x. Imagine buying LINK in $20 back in 2020 and it's $7 today. Holy shit make it stop

This is the saddest one to me. So many of my buddies turned their noses up at optimism because of 'muh mev'. I sybil farmed over 100k OP tokens, now my OP bags are bigger than my link bags. Felton played the marines like a fucking fiddle, and for what? What was in it for you?

Because of what I posted. People are stringing bagholders along. Last week it was the blue dot schizos, turned out to be a huge nothing burger. Now it's this Vodafone shit. Guarantee it gets winded down like AXA, Oracle, IBM, Maersk, PayPal, etc.

>>53884210
Because crypto's entire purpose is to sell to greater fools. Arbitrum, Optimism, "Base", and all the BUIDL shitcoins, all "partner" with Chainlink and then nothing. Chainlink is a whore that keeps getting used and abused for personal gain. How about BSN China Network? Joining the Ethereum Enterprise Alliance? The InterWork Global Alliance? SIBOS? All of this shit is as phony as LINK's token price

>> No.53884305

>>53884280
Link really does provide data on those chains and devs build apps with it. Not any of the BSN or other enterprise garbage promoted here mind you, but on actual chains link is critical infrastructure. It's just token price is unrelated to use.

I find myself wondering what it must be like to be you guys; to have saved up a sizeable stack of Link and then, thinking yourself a savvy investor/businessman, lodging most of it on Bancor and Celsius, all the while dreaming of this rich lifestyle you would one day soon attain.
I try to imagine the crippling grief and the dreadful feeling of loss when you realised it was all turning to shit. Oh god that must have been horrific. Like having a child taken from you. All your hopes and dreams gone, just like that. Of course, it actually took a while as there was this brief hope you might get it all back, but it wasn't to be.
I only pray you didn't buy a lot of Linkpool too, did you? To lock in that 'guaranteed share of all node earnings'? Holy mother of mercy, but that was not to be either, was it?
Your pain must be indescribable. I only hope I can offer a few words of consolation: HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

>> No.53884362

For blockchain shit nobody uses or cares about. Everyone forgets that when they talk about partnerships and retarded tech. These teams are using retard's money to build shit literally nobody cares about, and legally walking away with a shrug when they're done, because they "make tokens for specific services and it's your fault if you thought they were an investment or stake in an actual entity".

You're buying chuck e cheese tokens and never even playing skiball. You just stand outside the door hoping to sell the tokens to people heading in, but nobody is heading in.

Thank you OP for caring about my financial well being. You are an angel. No, dare I say it? A saint for giving me fear, uncertainty, and doubt during these hard fought times, there's no doubt in my mind that you have no other ulterior motive but to care about my personal anonymous financial well-being. A gentleman and a scholar.

Truly, I thank you and I will be promptly heading to the Binance cryptocurrency exchange to market sell all my cold storage ICO bought never traded Top1000 wallet Chainlink (ticker: LINK) tokens as soon as possible. I've held for so long, but this thread was the last straw. To my fellow OG ICO Chainlinkers, let's sell together! And don't forget to do the needful and thank anon for helping us all out, what a nice guy. Thank you sir and have a good day.

Its so uplifting how much everyone on here helps each other. All my buddies on Reddit said this place was a cesspool, but I don't think they gave it enough of a chance.
