He's probably spending too much, but it's not inconceivable. Let's say OP makes $20 per hour. That means he'll get about $1300 each paycheck, or about 2600 per month. 20% of his income would mean that he's spending a little over $500 a month on food, or about $125 per week.

I mean yeah he could probably cut back and get his food budget under $100 per week or even less if he was super frugal but spending 125-150 per week on food really isn't uncommon.

It's not easy to solve any of those problems or actually enforce tax laws. Throwing money at poor people to buy food or rent would never actually fix anything. Bloating the IRS won't make tax law more enforceable, it'll just make more government employees.

yeah not sure what OP meant. They seemed successful to me. Dozens of old statues were torn down (if not more). These statues were our heroes and leaders. Dozens if not hundreds of municipalities changed their laws to give less funding to police while providing more rules for them. Liberal DAs and prosecutors who already let black criminals off the hook with low or no bail will throw the book at a cop and try get him to have life in prison if he kills someone in the course of his work. Most white Americans seemed to tolerate the protests. There were no significant counter-protests of BLM, and the one that kind of happened, Rittenhouse down in Kenosha, got amplified in the media to the point that most liberals literally think he was running around just killing people for sport, despite being acquitted by a jury. In addition, BLM helped fortify activist networks who then conspired a few months later to commit enough voter fraud to ensure Trump did not get re-elected president.

Sure, they didn't actually force Trump to capitulate in June of 2020 when they were protesting directly outside the white house, but as far as I can tell by any other objective measure BLM won.

As a single guy my weekly food budget was between $50 and $100 but I also got lots of free food from work. Last time I was living on my own without free food option from work as 2019-2020 and even then I'd easily spend 100-120 at the grocery store every week

Depends on where you live maybe. I just check out the circulars around where I live and shop sales pretty heavily. Chicken breasts for $1.69/lb, drumsticks for $0.69/lb, 80/20 ground beef for $3/lb, etc. A pound of ground beef as the base for a meal can easily feed a family of four plus probably leave a little leftovers. Add a couple more dollars for your other ingredients, let's just call it $4 to be generous, so $7 total for the meal. That's like $210 for a month's worth of dinners. Breakfast and lunch should be even cheaper per meal if you're just doing shit like basic cereal or oats and milk for breakfast and sandwiches for lunch.

$400 still seems pretty do-able if you shop and cook smart, unless you live in Commiefornia or some other place with abnormally high CoL..
