Because my shitcoin does what Bitcoin does, but is actually decentralized and technologically works a hell of a lot better than busted Bitcoin does (20 current tps, probably up to 40 within the year with no increase in system requirements) and doesn't require all that much more than a basic Bitcoin node does

It's also using the coinset model so it won't shit itself long-term like the account model does when anyone actually tries to use it for anything relevant

Bitcoin will never be more than a fringe asset. Like gold, guns, ammo, Pokémon cards. Yes, it is technical genius. I own BTC and some shitcoins. TPS is irrelevant because the world is never going to pay for coffee with shitcoins or BTC except for some fringe technonerds. If anything, they will cash out BTC for gold and silver and truly remain anonymous. No escaping glowies unless it is a hand held untraceable object, whether on paper or in metal.

Do I think Bitcoin will be a global currency? Likely not, but whatever's next will juxtaposed to Bitcoin, so it better be good or it'll obviously look like shit.
