hyped a news release that had nothing to do with them in a desperate attempt to keep their community who theyve ripped off for years still believing in their grift?

Yeah I remember too, bc it just happened last week

They are one of the protocols on the permissionless network that literally anyone can join! The problem is that chainlink was on literally every L1 that mooned in 2021 and it demonstrably did nothing for the price because link has no value capture. Base won't be any different.

LOL. Like I said, pure desperation

>> No.53861818

The Chainlink team has been engaged in psychological warfare against its token holders for years. They hate us. The best thing we can do against it is to hold our LINK and go about our own lives in the meantime.

Link's bottom during the 2018 bear was 20 cents, link's top during the 2021 bull was 52 dollars making it a 260x. Also it is important to note that link front-ran the 2021 bull by outperforming every single asset on the planet during 2019-2020. Taking all of the above into account, I don't see why anons keep sprouting out that link was/is a bad investment, it simply went through it's first market cycle, albeit in a desynchronized fashion.

I mean the panelists don't look too bad.

Who knows if they will announce anything of merit though.

Obviously Hasselman and Watt are the people of interest here.

AWS and Meta.

Director of Business Messaging sounds like something CCIP related but again its all speculation at this point.

All of crypto has only ever had one "value capture": speculation.

Nah L1's have decent value capture, as people have to buy the tokens to use the network. Eth especially. Link objectively had way more users and activity, but it was uncorrelated to price. This is not true for every protocol.

They only have value capture as shitcoin casinos, and if that’s all crypto will ever be, bnb will overtake eth this cycle. And its a zero sum game that retail can never win.
