13 months ago I was -10.5k in credit card debt and my bank had less then 20 bucks in it. Today I have zero balance, 12.5k in my brokerage, and an emergency fund of 10k. It took two jobs and a lot of overtime. It sucks and it hurts being four months in and knowing there is so much more to do but now that I’m debt free and have habits of living like a broke person it is so easy to save. Cash is stacking up so quick friend. I don’t know what felt better, being debt free or knowing I’m not paycheck to paycheck. I still haven’t filed my taxes for the 2k~ refund because it really doesn’t matter. Keep the course, it is worth it.

I had $760 refund, Turbotax took 160 of that.
used 200 to pay my car insurance to reinstate it,
still owe my gas 600, water 400 and used the rest on my electricity because they were going to shut me off so now I have $20 again.
No job, unemployment denied and likely the appeal will be a waste of my time.
Suicide is looking more and more like an option everyday.
