I fucked around with my IBKR account by requesting additional trading permissions and now I'm being asked to upload a source of income document. I cancelled the trading permission request because I'm a poorfag who barely has money, but I'm STILL being asked to upload a source of income proof document.

I sent them a ticket asking them to cancel it, but I haven't gotten a reply yet. I'm getting paranoid about them closing my account now. Did I fuck myself? I already have $5K invested with them. Do they close accounts/suspend trading for shit like this?

I don't think anyone believed that. Ratcheting up in 25 bp increments up to [5 , 5.5] and then we hold it there for the year has been the broad consensus for the last couple months at the very least. I was hoping inflation would be less sticky, but this is just the reality we all live in. The big problem i all the rent inflation that has to slowly chunk through the system. Then the only thing left is gonna be services inflation. It feels like Powell is comfortable with how things are now that inflation is at least under some modicum of control. There's no need to choke too early. Inflation is inherently stimulatory since it amounts to a pay cut for workers. The market is going to cool, But the fed is willing to let that take a while.

Natgas needs to be replaced with brapgas, specifically have a vetting process that only lets cute girls be the new fuel source. There would be companies that would start where they go and install it with their own brapgas girl in every home. Virgin men get priority.

NVDA is a hedge fund hotel. They paint the ask higher because it makes their YTD performance look better.
Post-earnings is the easiest time to do this, but they've been vacuuming up shares for a few months now.

So when you look at the earnings and think to yourself that it's retarded to pump on this trash report, please understand that this entire move is manipulation to create a momentum trend out of nothing. It's a common ponzi technique.
In the end, NVDA has no significant profits, nor is there any bankruptcy of major dilution risk. So it's in limbo. Pumping it is no different than pumping bitcoin or pumping gold. This type of rigging is where hedge funds excel.

As an outsider, you may feel compelled to ride the momentum, but the best thing you can do is stay the fuck away. These things always resolve themselves eventually. In the short term the stock market is a voting machine, but in the long term it tends to act more like a weighing machine.

I've been saying this for fucking years. That poster has it wrong, btw. Gold is worthless, it's just shiny metal with little practical value to most people. The USD is backed by the US Military and Law Enforcement. Now THAT is a rock-solid backing of value I can believe in! Also why you should never bet against America or think anyone is going to take over our shit at this point in the game. We're too powerful. We will do everything we can to maintain that power in perpetuity.

"Oh no they're going to stop using the USD as the world reserve currency oh no the petrodollar is going away oh no!" No it's not. We'll free the shit out of you before anything like that even comes close to happening. America has tons of problems and corruption, granted, but if there's one fucking thing I can put my full faith behind it's our military. And the elites know this. Ukraine is mostly just a way to test and show off military tech from the military industrial complex tbhwy. Need new wars every now and then to test this new shit out, you know?

>Until then it's going to deliver huge returns for it's shareholders.
Where are these huge capital returns? I haven't seen them.

While you chase this company that you pray MIGHT grow at 20% moving forward (inflation adjusted), in hopes that 20 years from now that'll bring it down to 20x earnings on your cost basis, There are plenty of companies out there returning 20% in literal profits, right now. I wonder which one will compound better over time?
This isn't 2021 - there are some decent valuations out there just waiting to be found.

If you're buying NVDA for the fundamental picture, you're massively overpaying for an empty dream. If you're trading momentum, fine, there are plenty of similar plays in the market right now and the wave may continue quite a bit longer. Make sure to set a stop loss though.

Just found out I got covid. Again. (3rd time)

I'm unvaxxed and honestly this shit is just a cold at this point. Got the alpha strain back before the pandemic was in full swing back in feb 2020, that shit kicked my ass but we just thought it was a really really bad flu, like a superflu. Got it again in the fall of last year, fever broke after just 1 day and felt a little shitty for a couple days after, literally went around telling everyone at work afterwards that it was some pussy shit. Now this stuff, I didn't even get a fever at all, just a sore throat and my head being all congested and shit. I literally told my family "lol this isn't covid it's just a cold, i didn't even get the chills or anything that's how i know i got covid" and i took the test anyways this morning and boom, covid.

Am I getting stronger or something? Is this just how an unvaxxed immune system of a healthy white man works? Am I just gonna keep getting weaker and weaker versions of this shit? Fucking weird.

Unfortunately, you've failed to understand my point.
At 11% growth - and note that this growth you're pointing out ignores inflation - the best long term compounded return you can expect is 11% annualized. That assumes a similar exit multiple (100x earnings or 20x sales).
Adjust for inflation and it's approximately a 5% return. Again though, this assumes that multiples stay where they are right now. If they increase, you could see higher returns, if they decline more inline with alternative investment options, you would see less.
But there are names right now literally trading at 9x normalized profit. That's an 11% return right back into your pocket, every year. You can reinvest that and own 9% more shares. You can spend it and buy another stock. Whatever you want.

There is no world where it makes sense to buy 11% growth and an insane present day P/S multiple over 11% real capital returns.

to think that "this is it. it will never get better than this." is just silly. even what it can currently do, right now, is something i never thought would be possible in the past and is sci-fi level shit. stop seething so much, idk why you have such a grudge against technological progress but it's honestly embarrassing to watch.
