Not necessarily, the people who lost money when Bitcoin crashed last year weren't exactly rich people, they were all poor schmucks who didn't understand how currency worked. Most likely those same people have been saving up their shekels and waiting for this crash so now they can buy back in. If they lose everything in the meantime then they'll never recover from it because their credit won't let them take loans again.
