I think I might actually be good enough at day trading to quit my job. I consistently $250 a day from just a few trades in my spare time. Even in downtrends I can spot opportunities. Is this a bad idea?

Once you rely on it your mental game goes to shit since you realize you have a problem if you fuck up too much.

Get a cosy WFH job and trade during the day. If you get fired because you barely work it doesn't matter, and the extra income builds capital for as long as it lasts
