Goal is to retire early on divvies as its very tax efficient.

option premiums skyrocket whenever there's any volatility. NVDA, for example $12 for a 30 day ATM option. the price has to swing 10% in your favor in one month before you even break even.
dealer is selling both sides, so they make money in almost every case.
but they also are holding tons of cash and NVDA stock. So if at expiry, the calls are making too much money, they can sell boatloads of their NVDA stock to push it down
and most people are retarded and buy far OTM options that will never expire ITM. so even if a luckier player is winning consistently there's enough idiots to make up for them.
