Literally the best career decision you can make. Wagner pay +$40K a month for assault troops, in a country where the average yearly salary is less than $10K. If these pay levels are representative of what you can get as a willing competent soldier in an environment of acute need for someone with your skills. It would be +$200K a month - easily.
There will always be a demand for soldiers, always, the US and the west have had chronic shortage of recruitment for decades and it is getting worse.

For any young lad in his 20's, this is the best career path available at the moment, the demand for the skills you learn is so loopsided that you inevitably is gonna make a lot of money from it.

Full GI Bill benefits give you 36 months of completely free education that can be put toward most certifications and any public (state) school. It will pay for private colleges, but only up to a certain amount. A hard worker could earn three degrees in 36 months. Plus some states have state GI Bill benefits. There are also programs for active duty Soldiers that will pay for certifications and classes.
