It pushed everything to ultra short, as low effort as possible to consume, with mass engagement(a view) but absolutely dogshit conversion and substance. If you ever advertise on there you’ll get a million views with no purchases.
And content creation is cringe as fuck now. The internet used to be an amazing source of educational material but now its dogshit short form brain dead easy to consume garbage.

Skiing videos? You’d find long, well thought appropriate content for a certain level. Now that kind of content is ignored and you’ll get some faggy as short form vomit thats is not useful or relevant to people and maybe even detrimental.

Even on unrelated sites, adverts will be tiktokiesed with the gay same person pretending to be different people format.

Im not surprised zoomers are fucking useless at everything they do and cant even use a computer.

The amazing thing about tiktok and competitors is that it sucked away the brain deads from older long form platforms. YouTube has gotten a renaissance of video essays and high quality educational content. The SNR for such things improved dramatically when shorts came out to pull the glue eaters practically off platform.
