I got on the bus a few days ago and there were two rows of seats everyone was avoiding because they stank of the most vile disgusting stale BO I've ever smelt. Shampoo isn't needed. It sucks for the first couple of months, because your hair overproduces your natural oil since it thinks you're still stripping it away with shampoo. After 3 or so months your scalp calms down and your hair will look better than it ever has

And to add to this. Get a 100% boar bristle brush and brush your hair everyday when it's fully dry. Make sure it's 100% or else they mix in shitty plastic bristles which fuck up your hair.
