Is having an unlimited supply an advantage?

>> No.53702379

Yup. Solves BTCs fee market issues.

>> No.53702685

Yes. Also dynamic block size is based.

less supply than btc until 2040

>> No.53703687

>unlimited
people don't understand what this word means. There will always be a finite supply of Monero. That supply is growing slowly at a small rate. The supply of bitcoin behaves the same way for the next century (if you think BTC will still be used in 100 years you are an imbecile). This is different than fiat currency which a Jew can increase the total supply of arbitrarily according to their whim.

>> No.53703748

no, but having an unlimited blocksize is literally killing monero's privacy, and the developers don't even care

>>53703687
though if you think monero, or any altcoin will outlive bitcoin you are an even bigger imbecile

there will be 40 million XMR when there are 21 million BTC. also for the next decade there is less xmr than BTC. also to answer your question. Yes the network will always stay open to join , permissoinless because of mining emission tail. it will be forever a free open network due to mining will be forever

You can call it altcoin or whatever but there will be some form of digital currency not controlled by governments. Bitcoin will stay the same, monero may be outdated too but there will be some currency to pay digitally without the intervention of governments.

Eternal $POND/$XMR/pennyshity holder here. It quite literally doesn't matter.

It really isn't. What? Monero might have been used as a purely speculative asset sometimes but that's normal for anything, retard. Its uses are tangible, actually useful, it's fast... What are you on about?

You gotta admit that people like >>53703768 are the pinnacle of cringe though. That's what's usually criticized about Monero. It IS a real project with REAL interest in it from a real community and yet the faggots who post about it here on /biz/ can't help but sound like Ahmed and Co. I still don't know if it's an elaborate inside joke but the whole "MONERO WILL SURPASS BITCOIN!!" slop is autistic.

Its wishful thinking. The idea is good but the people are retarded. Maybe if they make the emblem more shiny or get a famous person to care about it, dangle it in front of Elon and maybe it'll pump for a day when he makes a le monero tweet.

>> No.53706238

im officially a monero bagholder as of last month. i have 2 moneros. i plan to keep stacking

>> No.53706563

Monero used for actual p2p trading,
BTC is a volatile "store of value"
If you're buying Monero to make money you're doing it wrong.

Yet another Monero-only market has just launched. I'm starting to see a trend developing here.....
